A-Level Economics is hard to get right.

From essay technique to conceptual understanding, students face structural obstacles that generic AI tools and scattered online resources simply cannot address.

01

No reliable reference material

Whether it’s essay technique or general concepts, online resources are scattered, poorly structured, and rarely aligned to the syllabus students are actually examined on.

02

Answers that miss the mark scheme

Without syllabus-specific guidance, students produce answers that sound reasonable but miss the analytical frameworks, evaluation depth, and structure that examiners reward.

03

Expert support isn’t always available

Students need syllabus-aligned guidance when they’re actually studying — not days later. Teachers and tutors can’t always be there at the moment of need.

An AI that actually understands A-Level Economics.

Not a generic chatbot. EasyNomics is purpose-built from official syllabuses, real past papers, and direct input from leading A-Level economics teachers — and our team updates it continuously.

Precision

Fully syllabus-aligned

Every response — whether it’s a past-paper essay or a general economics question — is grounded in the latest AQA and CIE syllabus specifications. No guesswork, no off-syllabus content.

Continuously updated

Always current, never stale

Our team actively refines the system with every syllabus update, new past paper, and examiner report. Direct relationships with leading A-Level economics teachers ensure we incorporate changes as soon as they’re released.

Credibility

Built by top students and educators

Developed by A-Level high-scorers, refined by LSE economics students, and validated by experienced teachers from top A-Level schools. Real exam expertise, not theory.

Versatility

Beyond past papers

Not limited to essay practice. Ask any economics question — conceptual, analytical, or applied — and receive an answer structured around your exam board’s syllabus and assessment objectives.

Two tools. Every angle covered.

One tool plans your essays. The other marks them. Together, they create the improvement loop that actually raises your grade.

A private tutor helps you plan essays and explains the syllabus — exactly what EasyNomics does. The difference? A tutor is available for one hour a week, and you book days in advance. EasyNomics is there at 2am before your mock, every weekend during half-term revision, and whenever you need a second opinion on your essay structure — for less than £1 a week.

Essay Planning

Give it any economics question — a past paper, a mock, or one you create yourself — and receive a near-perfect, syllabus-aligned essay plan complete with arguments, evaluation points, and the analytical depth that separates an A* from a B. The ideas are there. The structure is locked in. You write.

  • Structure-lockedNever lose marks on essay structure
  • Verified sourcesEvery example cited — zero hallucination
  • A/A* calibratedPlans built to top-band level descriptors
  • Any questionPast papers, mocks, or your own

Essay Marking

Submit your essay — typed or photographed — and see exactly where you’re dropping marks. Personalised examiner-level feedback pinpoints your specific weaknesses and tells you precisely how to fix them. Every marked essay makes the next one better.

  • Pre-exam clarityKnow your exact mark before exam day
  • Your weaknessesSpecific to your writing, not generic advice
  • Actionable fixesKnow precisely what to change and how
  • Compounds over timeEvery essay you submit makes you better

Born from a real problem.

2023 · Dulwich College

A clear gap between what A-Level Economics students needed and what was available. Online resources were fragmented — lacking syllabus alignment, analytical depth, and the structured reasoning that examiners reward. Whether students needed help with a past-paper essay or a general economics concept, there was nowhere to turn for reliable, exam-board-specific guidance.

We assembled high-achieving A-Level alumni, LSE economics specialists, and educators from leading A-Level schools to build something purpose-specific. Not another chatbot — a continuously updated tool engineered around AQA and CIE syllabuses, trained on real past papers, and actively refined through direct relationships with experienced economics teachers who keep us ahead of every syllabus change.

“We set out to build something that doesn’t just generate text — it understands the syllabus inside out and guides students toward the structure, analysis, and precision that examiners reward, whether they’re tackling a past paper or exploring a concept for the first time.”

Frequently asked questions.

Everything you need to know about EasyNomics and how it supports your A-Level Economics studies.

EasyNomics offers two dedicated tools — each built from the ground up for its exam board. EasyNomics CIE covers Cambridge International 9708 (2026–2028), while EasyNomics AQA covers AQA A-Level Papers 1, 2 & 3. They run as separate products so every response matches your board’s specific marking scheme, command words, and assessment objectives.

CIE and AQA have different paper structures, mark tariffs, and examiner expectations. A one-size-fits-all tool would compromise accuracy. By building two independent AI tutors — each trained on its own past papers, mark schemes, and examiner reports — we ensure the guidance you receive is precisely aligned to how your essays are actually marked.

Generic AI tools don’t understand A-Level marking criteria or syllabus boundaries. EasyNomics is purpose-built from official syllabuses, real past papers, examiner reports, and mark schemes. It follows locked essay structures (AO1, AO2, AO3), uses only diagrams from an approved bank, and auto-detects question type, mark tariff, and micro vs macro classification. Our team continuously updates the system with direct input from top A-Level economics teachers — so it stays current with every syllabus revision.

EasyNomics handles both exam-style questions and general economics queries. CIE: Data response and essay questions for Papers 2 & 4 (8, 12, and 20 marks), including linked (a)/(b) parts. AQA: Data response (Section A) and essays (Section B) for Papers 1, 2 & 3 (15 and 25 marks), including synoptic questions. You can also ask any general economics question and receive a syllabus-aligned explanation. Both products auto-detect question format and apply the correct structure.

EasyNomics provides precise diagram descriptions — including axis labels, curve shifts, and equilibrium changes — drawn from an approved diagram bank (AD/AS, Demand & Supply, Labour market, PPC, and more). You draw the diagram; EasyNomics tells you exactly what it should look like.

EasyNomics was created by a team of high-achieving A-Level alumni, LSE economics students, and experienced educators with direct connections to top A-Level school economics departments. The CIE product is led by Etienne & Eric and advised by Carl and Claire; the AQA product is led by Etienne — all coordinated by founder Etienne and engineered by Jessie at Createch Intelligence. The team actively updates the system to reflect the latest syllabus changes as soon as they are released.
